A castigada is a contra piernazo.

To find castigadas, the Mark can start with any sacada. His entering step becomes an alteración.

The pivot of the alteración shows the Revel her next projection.

His returning step enters the space of her projection, creating a voleo which strikes him.

If the Revel is in a front or back step to enter or receive the sacada, the next step is a side projection, so the castigada will be front voleo.

If the Revel is in a side step to enter or receive the sacada, the next step is a front or back projection, which both result in castigadas that are back voleos.
