Every project needs a debriefing…vacations, repairs, dinner parties, collaborations, relationships, steaks … This way you can acknowledge your power, how you used it, and how you can direct it even better.

Here’s how to debrief. Make three lists, in this order. Each one is a brainstorm. You don’t have to agree on what’s written, just collect all the experiences. Be as precise as you can.

What was fabulous?

What was shaky?

What shall we change for next time?

If you think of something for the list other than the one you’re working on, that’s ok, write it where it belongs, then go back to where you were before.
