To decelerate, we need a control system.

For steps, the control system, is the process of extension of the joints into the step.

A parada is a step decelerated to a stop at some point during the transfer.

To decelerate the revel’s leg when it’s in the air, we use conservation of co-contraction.

We can also decelerate a pivot. See pivot-parada.
